- Business Development
ACI has the resources necessary to support and/or lead contract
capture and proposal development, depending on whether ACI is
a teammate or the prime. Trained in the Shipley business development process, our Business
Development Director has over 16 years of experience in all phases of business development,
from identification and qualification of opportunities through capture, proposal development,
phase-in, and program management. The last fourteen of those years were focused on
NASA Ames.
Our experience in the capture process includes competitive assessments, development of
win strategies, and the conduct of notional winner exercises leading to win themes and
discriminators. ACI expertise in proposal development includes section writing, volume
management, and overall proposal management with training sessions and creation of
individual author guidebooks to support storyboard and full proposal development. ACI has
significant experience in leading as well as supporting contract phase-ins and subsequent
contract management. Our Director of Business Development served as the Capture
Manager, Proposal Manager, Phase-in Manager, and Program Manager for three major
contracts at NASA Ames, with initial staffing levels as high as 350.
